Personal Assistant to the Head of School & HR Assistant - Epsom and Ewell High School

Salary Grade: Surrey Grade 7 - 8 depending on experience -  £24,642 - £32,838 (pro rata to hours worked £15,336 - £20,437)

Hours: 25 hours per week (flexible) / 41 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Head of School and HR Assistant. The post holder will provide a confidential and personal service to the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team. They will also coordinate the recruitment process and support the School Business Manager with the management of human resources.

Clerk to the Governors - Epsom and Ewell High School

Epsom & Ewell High School, a member of the Bourne Education Trust, is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body as soon as possible.

The clerk will be required to attend and take minutes of the meetings of the full governing body and all committees as well as all associated preparation and follow-up work.  An understanding of governing body procedures and education issues would be advantageous, as would experience of attending formal meetings.

You will be required to attend meetings at the school during term time which usually take place during the afternoon or early evening. The successful applicant will need to arrange their own transport to and from meetings.

A high standard of written English, good communication and interpersonal skills and experience with IT, including word-processing, are essential requirements. A proven interest in Academy Trust compliance and education/legal matters would be an advantage, though not essential. Training will be provided as necessary.

Initial working hours are expected to be around 119 hours per academic year. Extra hours may be required under certain circumstances.
