I began my teaching career 24 years ago joining West Ewell Infant school as a newly qualified teacher. I have always had a passion for inclusive teaching and took on the role of SENCO before taking up the deputy headship in 2009. I have been lucky enough to work with aspirational leaders who inspired me to progress my career and I am now in my fifth year of headship. 

I am relentless in ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to develop as an individual and has the opportunity to be the best they can be.  I am proud to have created a school ethos founded on strong values for life, courage and self-belief which enables the highest standards of behaviour, sense of responsibility, empathy and respect for others.

The last 18 months have been amongst the most exciting for the school as we begin our transformation from a large infant school to a primary school catering for children from the age of 2 to 11 years. We joined the Bourne Education Trust in June 2018 and are excited to be working with such like-minded professionals.  We share the same drive for continual improvement, commitment to collaboration and ambition for every child in our schools.
