Having completed my teaching degree in 1998, I initially taught in Kent and Manchester. I joined West Ewell Infant School in 2003 and subsequently, as a Senior Leader, was fully involved in both the transition to primary status and academisation process when the school joined Bourne Education Trust in June 2018. During my time at West Ewell, I led the nursery provision and subsequently became Assistant Headteacher and Inclusion lead. My passion for inclusion led to a secondment to two of our Trust secondary schools which has given me a valuable insight into our children's transitions and development from early years through to KS4.

As of September 2022, I am privileged to begin the next stage of my career as Headteacher of Brookwood Primary School. I am committed to ensuring our children and staff feel valued and supported within a nurturing school community, providing an enriching and aspirational curriculum. I am delighted that I will also be able to continue working as part of the BET, benefiting from the collaborative working relationships and professional development opportunities which are readily available and invaluable.
