Epsom and Ewell High School awarded Microsoft Showcase School status

2nd Sep 2021

Bourne Education Trust is delighted to announce that its founding school, Epsom and Ewell High School, has been awarded Microsoft Showcase School status.

Following a journey spanning just over 2 years and guided by transformative education principles, the schools vision to fully embrace cutting edge technology throughout its teaching, learning, communication and collaboration has allowed it to remain agile in its approach, flourishing in its ability to adapt whilst empowering its students to achieve more.

As one of only 350 schools worldwide, the accolade recognises the school as a leader within its field - Showcase School status is only awarded to those organisations able to create student-centred, immersive, and inclusive experiences that inspire lifelong learning and essential future-ready skills.

Chris Goodall, deputy headteacher said: “We are immensely proud to have been awarded Showcase School status. Our staff have been open minded, taken on every challenge we have presented them with and now possess a new, unique set of skills to benefit our students.”

As part of its ongoing journey as a Showcase School, Epsom and Ewell High School will have further access to the latest research and resources and help shape the future of Microsoft education products and programs, contributing to the vision of schools and students around the world.
