I joined Epsom and Ewell High School in 2004 as a newly qualified teacher. The Trust has provided me with excellent opportunities to progress my career and I am now in my second year of headship.

Leading a school gives me the opportunity to create a culture and ethos that endeavours to provide a first-class experience for both students and staff alike. Our school vision is that by focussing on the four key building blocks of teaching, learning, leadership and well-being we can bring about excellence in teaching and learning. The school has an innovative approach to making sure that we excel in these four areas and have been working with schools across the country to help them improve their own student experience.

During my time at Epsom and Ewell, I have been fortunate to have been mentored by experienced leaders from the the Trust who have developed my own leadership skills and enabled me to be in a position where I feel able to approach challenges with confidence and drive. The Trust encourages free thinking from school leaders and the level of support and guidance that I have received has been second to none.
