8th May 2025Bourne Education Trust is delighted to confirm the appointment of Clare Goldsmith as Education Director, further strengthening the capacity of its central education team.
From September 2025, Clare will join the Trust's team of Education Directors and wider core group, working across all school phases to support the delivery of exceptional education. Clare will also take the lead on safeguarding across the Trust, ensuring a consistent, rigorous and supportive approach in every school.
Clare brings over 30 years of experience in primary education, including 20 years in senior leadership. Her most recent achievement was as Headteacher of Woodmansterne Primary School, where she successfully transformed the school from 'Requires Improvement' to a thriving, successful and oversubscribed setting. Throughout her time with BET, Clare has also made significant contributions to Trust-wide initiatives, leading BET Reads since its inception and providing valuable support to colleagues as a BET Education Leader.
A holder of a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Clare also serves as a School Improvement Partner with Schools Alliance for Excellence (SAfE), collaborating with diverse schools on their improvement journeys.
