Following the 2019 GCSE results, Bourne Education Trust has been named as the top performing non-denominational trust for pupil progress and second overall in Surrey.

With an average Progress 8 score of 0.25, pupils within Bourne Education Trust schools are making better progress and achieving higher grades at GCSE than pupils with similar starting points at other schools throughout the country.

Alex Russell, CEO said: 'I am delighted that the hard work of our school leaders and of course the pupils within our schools has produced such excellent results. It is often said that each child gets one chance of education. Our role is to ensure that our pupils make the most of their opportunities by ensuring that our academies aspire to and reach the highest standards.’
