BET Community

At Bourne Education Trust, we bring together two established staff voice groups: BET People and Places and BET Together.

These groups support the Trust’s commitment to positive working environments, wellbeing, equity and inclusion across our schools. They provide structured opportunities for colleagues to contribute ideas, share experiences and help shape Trust-wide practice relating to our people, our places and how we create a sense of belonging. We aim for representation from across all our schools, ensuring a wide range of voices and perspectives inform our work. Participation in either group involves a commitment of approximately 1–2 hours per term.

BET People and Places
BET People and Places focuses on wellbeing across our school communities. The group contributes to the development of initiatives that promote the wellbeing of staff, students and other stakeholders, and supports the creation of safe, supportive working and learning environments across the Trust.

BET Together
BET Together is the Trust’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion staff reference group. It provides a forum for colleagues to share ideas and perspectives on the implementation of BET’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, helping to ensure these principles are effectively embedded in everyday working and learning practices across the Trust.
