Paul Robinson

Chief Education Officer

I have worked in education for over 25 years, dedicated to transforming schools and ensuring every child - regardless of context or background receives an exceptional, inclusive education. As Chief Education Officer at Bourne Education Trust, I lead our strategic vision for educational quality, curriculum, inclusion and school improvement across all our phases and settings.

I began my career as a classroom teacher and went on to serve as an 'Outstanding' Headteacher, Executive Principal and Local Authority School Improvement Advisor. Over the past six years, I have worked at a multi-academy trust level leading system-wide curriculum development, SEND and inclusion strategies and leadership development. Alongside my role at BET, I serve as an Ofsted Inspector, which gives me a rich, evidence-informed perspective on quality assurance and school transformation across London and the South East.

I am particularly passionate about early intervention, closing attainment gaps and working with local communities to establish strong, inclusive frameworks that support all children from early years through to secondary. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management (Distinction), NPQEL and am a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.

Having led major school turnarounds and cross-phase collaborations both in the UK and internationally, I firmly believe that the best school systems balance collective strength with local school identity. I am thrilled to work alongside our headteachers, staff and communities to ensure every pupil in a BET school flourishes.
