Alexandra Primary to join BET as associate member
Bourne Education Trust is delighted to announce Alexandra Primary School as an associate member, joining our Thames Cluster and marking the beginning of a new collaborative partnership.
Alexandra Primary School is an established two-form entry primary school in Kingston upon Thames, for children aged 3–11 years. Guided by its values of Excellence, Exploration, Nurture and Community, the school places a clear emphasis on every child’s academic, social and emotional development, with high expectations for personal achievement and moral standards from Nursery through to Year 6. These values underpin a rich and ambitious curriculum, designed to develop deep knowledge and understanding across all subject areas.
Alexandra Primary School benefits from excellent facilities, including modern classrooms, a multi-use games area and an established forest school. The school also has resourced provision supporting children with physical and moderate learning difficulties, reflecting its inclusive approach and commitment to meeting the needs of all learners.
Alex Russell, BET CEO said: “We are delighted to welcome Alexandra Primary School as an associate member. Their clear focus on their pupils and high-quality provision aligns closely with our values. We look forward to working together, sharing best practice and learning from one another as this partnership develops.”
Robert Waiting, Headteacher of Alexandra Primary School, said: “Joining as an associate member provides a valuable opportunity for collaboration and shared learning. We are pleased to be working alongside other schools within the Thames Cluster, and wider Trust, and look forward to contributing to, and learning from, this partnership in ways that support our pupils, staff and wider school community.”
