Cranmere Primary to join BET as an associate member
Bourne Education Trust (BET) is pleased to announce that Cranmere Primary School has joined the Trust as an associate school from January 2026. This partnership marks an important opportunity for collaboration and shared learning, supporting the expansion of the established Thames cluster and the continued strengthening of educational provision across the Trust.
Cranmere Primary School is a values-led school with a clear focus on developing the whole child. Its core values - kindness, respect, curiosity, resilience, self-belief and responsibility - shape expectations, behaviour and learning, supporting pupils to develop confidence, independence and strong character alongside their academic progress.
The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment in which every child is known, challenged and encouraged to succeed. High standards, strong relationships and a clear focus on wellbeing underpin the school's approach, ensuring pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education.
The partnership also brings opportunities for further collaboration across the Trust. Cranmere already works closely with fellow associate school Woodlands, which operates a satellite provision for children with additional needs on Cranmere's extensive site; strengthening inclusive practice and reinforcing our shared commitment to meeting the needs of pupils and families across the local area.
Alex Russell, BET CEO, said: "We are delighted to welcome Cranmere Primary School as an associate member. The school's strong values, high expectations and clear commitment to inclusion align closely with our own. We look forward to working closely with the team."
Paul Gilbert, Headteacher, said: "Becoming an associate member is an exciting step for Cranmere. This partnership will allow us to work more closely with other schools, share expertise and continue to build on the strong foundations already in place for our pupils and community."
